   DECORATIVE TRIM

Vinyl siding is installed with matching vinyl corner accessories which can be highlighted by using different colors and designs or they can match the siding color as well. All homes sided with cedar or fiber cement siding require outside and inside corner trim. When you replace your siding you may be able to reuse the existing outside corner trim, but you should always replace the 2x2 inside corner trim. However, if your existing trim is not cedar, was not pre-primed, is cracked, or overlaps your siding, you need to replace it. In addition, if you choose to install a new moisture barrier it is important to replace your trim to ensure the barrier performs properly.

   Decorative Back Plates

As a standard installation step, American Classic Exteriors always installs decorative back plates at all light fixture, electrical outlet, faucet, and dryer vent locations. They are available in different colors and eliminate the standard caulking usually applied by other companies. They look great and add a finishing touch to your siding project.

   Window Trim

Window trim can dramatically enhance the look of any home. This step protects the wood frames of your doors and windows and eliminates painting.

   Other Custom Trim Details

We can add a wide variety of beautiful decorative trim enhancements to your project. Porch columns in round, square, smooth or fluted designs add great curb-appeal. Window and door mantels and keystones, sunburst pediments, and door pilasters and shutters are just a few of the decorative touches that can be the "icing on the cake".

   SOFFIT / FASCIA

Covering soffits, fascia and related wood trim is practical but it also enhances the beauty of your home. Constant painting and rotting wood are on-going problems that can be eliminated. Custom-made soffit panels are installed in all overhangs and will include vented panels for level runs and solid panels for gables and porch ceilings. American Classic prefers using a "hidden-vent" panel that eliminates visible air perforations which provides for a much nicer finished look.

Although all homes have combinations of wood soffits and fascia, other areas are usually included when the installation is done. These can include entry and porch ceilings, porch columns, frieze boards, vertical outside corner boards, window and door frames and more.
